Peggy Martin is the head women’s volleyball coach at Central Missouri State University. Since assuming her current position in 1975, Martin has guided the Jennies’ program to unprecedented success. Her teams have won at least 25 matches for 24 straight seasons, have won, or shard, 19 Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association Championships, and have made 19 consecutive appearances in the NCA Division II tournament. With almost 900 career victories, Martin is the winningest volleyball coach in Division II. A 1972 graduate of Indiana University, she completed work on her masters degree in 1974 at UNC-Greensboro and earned her doctorate in 1980 from Indiana University. Martin is widely respected as one of the top volleyball coaches in the history of the sport.
