Biography
Allen Hedrick, MA, CSCS*D, is the head strength and conditioning coach at the United States Air Force Academy, a position he has held since 1998. Among the areas for which he has responsibility are program design and supervision of all aspects of the strength, plyometric, and speed training for football, hockey, and volleyball. Prior to assuming his present position, he served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at USAF for almost three years. Before that, he was the strength and conditioning coordinator at the U.S. Olympic Training Center for three years. A graduate of California State University-Fresno, Hedrick is a prolific author, a much sought-after clinician, and a featured speaker on a number of well-received instructional DVDs. In 2003, he was named the NSCA’s College Strength and Conditioning Professional of the Year.
