Biography
Tom Jones is the defensive coordinator and defensive line coach at the University of Buffalo. A 1980 graduate of Temple University, Jones joined the Bulls’ staff in 1998. In a coaching career that has spanned more than twenty years, he has served as an assistant coach on the staffs at Ohio State, Arizona State, New Mexico State, Idaho State, Western Connecticut, and Kent State in a variety of positions, including defensive coordinator, defensive line coach, linebacker coach, and secondary coach. Currently, he serves as the AFCA’s district representative for the Mid-American Conference. Jones is also featured on the well-received instructional video, The Ten Commandments of Defensive Line Play.
