Tim Tramp is the head football coach at Lake Washington (WA) High School, a position he accepted in 1999. Since assuming the reins of the Kangaroos’ gridiron program, he has led Lake Washington to the league championship for the first time in more than four decades, as well to its first-ever appearance in the state playoffs. A 1986 graduate of Simpson College where he earned two letters as a defensive end and linebacker on the gridiron for the Storm, Tramp began his head coaching career in 1994 at Harbor (CA) H.S., where he coached for three seasons. He then spent the next two years at Saratoga (CA) H.S. One of the most respected interscholastic coaches in the game, Tramp has been named Coach of the Year four times in his accomplished career (1994, 1996, 1999, 2003).
